Dr. Lilia Flores, a Kansas native, earned her bachelor's degree in Public Health Nutrition from Kansas State University. She later moved to Texas to attend optometry school at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. During her time in optometry school, Dr. Flores developed a deep passion for serving her Spanish-speaking community, which led her to participate in medical mission trips to Panama and Guatemala. Her dedication to service was recognized when she received the prestigious Service Award, given to the most outstanding student who demonstrates compassion, courtesy, and commitment to their patients.

Dr. Flores completed her optometric training at renowned institutions such as Parkhurst Nuvision in San Antonio, Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, and the Bob Michel VA in Illinois. Over her 6 years of practice, she has gained extensive experience in various areas of eye care, including primary care, ocular disease, and refractive surgery. Her fluency in both Spanish and English allows her to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

Dr. Flores is passionate about giving back, not only to her local community but also to underserved communities around the world, including in Mexico. Her professional focus includes interests in nutrition, ocular disease, dry eye therapy, research, and the integration of innovative technology. She is dedicated to ensuring that her patients have access to the latest advancements in eye care.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Flores enjoys traveling, reading her Bible, practicing yoga, playing piano, dancing salsa, and spending quality time with her family. She’s also a foodie and loves exploring the culinary delights the world has to offer.
